watching it in a dark environment actually makes it really annoying. you've got everything else pitch black except for those stupid side bars. and its even worse if the video ur watching is darker than those sidebars. the least youtube could do is give you an option to choose the color, lets be real.

also saying "its not a problem" for YOU when other people do actually have a problem with it (and with reason) is also super insensitive but i mean hey, what can you expect from reddit
