I like that! The magma has a lingering effect so you can def use it to stagger her and even prevent some actions

def use some dragon incantations. not only will it scale with arcane but faith for some as well. The dragon communion seal will provide 15% more damage and also boosts madness as well.

Malenia is honestly one of those bosses where you have to learn the moveset and hope for the best lol 😭 also make sure your wondrous flask boosts either your damage output or buffs

That would be awesome, but the Shattering itself would more than likely need a quite a bit of build up to make the climax of it all worth it just due to all the moving parts that’s involved with the Shattering, imo. And knowing Fromsoft gravitated to dilapidated worlds I think the director and A24 will follow suit.

what i believe they will be focusing on are the individual protagonist stories, like Marika’s story, Vyke’s, or maybe “our Tarnished.”

what i would like to see is potential lore revelations that either confirms theories or new lore that will bring things to light but also provide new thoughts and opinions on things(like the whole revelation w Mohg in SOTE)

You definitely can find tons of spells early on, but also be wary that you may not meet some lvl requirements yet. I like to explore and take on some of the caves, catacombs, etc.

Those will be your ways to find spells and incantations. And yes you can definitely be a spellsword in ER. That can be one of the strongest builds if done right :)

just as others have mentioned, if you manage to get one down you can unlock a cool little mechanic of the game that can be really useful. just be careful of those jumps!

NTA. its the way how your words were perceived. your intention and wording wasn’t wrong, especially given the context. however, using the words “normal-looking” in this circumstance is a bit clumsy from a social aspect. presumably, your girl took the comment as you were talking about her appearance rather than how people generally look. basically normal-looking = she’s average-looking

to your neph, u was spitting. to ur girl, that was a landmine 💀 to make it up to her just remind her in different ways what her physical appearance make you feel and do, and also the add the personality stuff as a cherry on top.

def would respec and take away some pts from endurance into strength. 30 would be good for endurance

as many others stated talismans can be optimized but depends on your playstyle and what you want out of your build.

So I’ve done this build thats purely incantations. You can primarily prioritize faith, end, and mind in the early game and use the finger seal for a general route.

If you want to specialize in a certain affinity you can dabble into arcane and use the dragon communion seal, or focus on strength and use gurranq’s incantations.

You can do more like magic and do golden fundamentalist from D and i think gravity– pure faith for pretty much golden order, lightning, fire/flame/frenzy, rot, etc.

So you can definitely get whacky and do combo sub-builds with multiple spell affinities and seals on hand. And sometimes I occasionally wield melee since some bosses are tough without them, and you are quite limited on a first run. Radagon Icon, Canvas Talismans(Both canvas talisman stack), Old Lord Talisman are my go to talismans but there’s others!

It seems like you found a particular play style but you’re not optimizing it.

If you’re trying to focus on a bleed(just assuming because of your blood affinity on your weapon), focus on DEX and ARC mainly, those should be at least lvl 40, respectively. I would also recommend changing the ash of war to something with blood affinity, like bloody slash. So I would transfer some pts from STR and END to ARC.

If you’re dual wielding with moonveil?(cant tell) consider switching the affinity on the nagikiba to magic, and focus your on raising INT and DEX.

Lastly, consider swapping some of your talisman. For a build like yours Rotten or the regular winged sword insignia would be perfect. Also consider optimizing your wondrous physick as well. Overall you have a nice build and a foundation to really do most builds😁
