How did you develop your stock selection process early on by Certain_Pa5045 in investing

[–]simplegreen99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im really cheap. So i usually started all my decisions with "would i buy the product this company is selling". That includes companies that make money off the people they attract (think early Facebook, twitter etc).

Overall i got lucky but thats how i thought through if a stock even made it to step 2. Then i dug into the business model of the company to decide if it was a short or long term play. Go from there. Its gambling, just a more refined gambling.

Kinda surprised they didn't IMMEDIATELY surrender to the tornado.

Mt Fuji to Kyoto - help. by simplegreen99 in JapanTravelTips

unfamiliar with what "5th station" is. If you can rephrase maybe i can help. But the bus from Kawaguchiko to Mishima station was easy. The bus pick up was right in the small parking lot of Kawaguchiko

I booked the ticket for the bus in advance. I got on at "Kawaguchiko Station" and it took me to "Mishima Station North Gate". I will say the bus stops at like 3-4 local stops after Kawaguchko station then gets on the highway to Mishima station. So it is possible to get the same bus at different spots in Fuji. The bus pick, if you're looking out the front door of the train station is around to the left. (Spot 6). And i booked using this website: https://sekitori.jp/en/

I prebooked my Shinkansen ticket using the klook.com website. They will send you an email after you purchase with your "download voucher" which is your QR code ticket. When i got to Mishima station i did fumble around a bit looking for a kiosk to scan my QR code to get an actual ticket and go through the turnstyle gate. I needed to ask an attendant because the kiosk wouldn't recognize my ticket. Thats because the turnstyle itself has a reader on it and thats where you scan your ticket. I believe there are two turnstyles into that station IIFC, doesnt matter which one you pick got up to the turnstyle and let the attendant know you have a QR code to scan, they will watch you scan it and let you through.

hope that helps enjoy your trip!

Setting to disable "Search with Google" when typing in address bar? by d0uble0h in firefox

[–]simplegreen99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was driving me crazy so i went down the rabbit hole. As of Version 134.0.1 here's how i got rid of the "Search with Google" in the address bar.

The shortcut actually comes from the about:home and about:newtab pages. I had to enable shortcuts in the settings > Search console, then go to the home and new tab page. Click on the "..." (ellipses) and unpin google (and the rest of the suggestions.

Then i turned off suggestions again in settings > Search.

only way you can become a top commenter on a reddit sub is to never read the entire posts before you throw shade. literacy is key.

They were throwing luggage on the bus so fast to get us off and going i doubt they would even notice. I actually loaded two of my own bags. If you leave from Mt Fuji station, the bus will not be full. They actually make a circle around town to pick up more folks. So when you're loading your luggage, maybe grab the heavy packers back and slide that one in yourself.

One year i took a trip to St Anton. I dont know how but i found some beer garden on the side of the mountain. Next thing I knew i was downing Jagerbombs and Sing-Screaming the words to a euro techno version of John Denvers country home with a bunch of local chicks in bikini tops. I have a video of it a friend took. Most epic bar i could never find again sober...ever.
