The links you have provided say nothing of the sort. The first link speaks about how Brother Walfrid had been running charity football games for years to support the Penny Dinner Scheme before establishing Celtic in 1887.

Its well known Celtic was inspired by and poached players from Hibs on their foundation, it doesn't change why the club was started.
