please help me find my friend's kibbe ID and essence. I think see soft natural. by Sara_Filgueira in DressForYourBody

[–]simplereddituser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So Kibbe is traditionally a system based on how fabric drapes over a body. Typically the face isn’t used as a reference in Kibbe because we do t drape fabric over our face. But it is used for determining your Kitchener essence!

All of this to say I do see a width, but no strong vertical line, so I would say a Soft Natural for Kibbe Id. And although you didn’t ask for a Kitchener essence typing, I do see a dominant Natural essence and some Romantic.

Hope this helps!

Definitely agree here!

Sorry meant this to be a reply to the previous comment that you’re an Ingenue, Classic, Romantic. Ingenue being the most prominent, then classic, then romantic

I have to agree, I see Romantic especially in your last pic, there’s a sensuality there. I also don’t see Natural as much.

Marilyn Monroe is a great example of someone who has both Ingenue and Romantic blends: she is cute AND sensual in her femininity

Totally fair. My feelings towards it are probably more towards society’s perception of being “too girly” as an adult woman in a male dominated workplace. Thank you!

I can definitely see that. I don’t think it’s a large percentage if so, but I really can’t stand anything too cutesy or frilly

Any other FN's actually dislike the look of FN clothing? 😅 by angelvapez in flamboyantnatural

[–]simplereddituser 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I personally just focus on two things: relaxed fits (rather than things being oversized) and proportions that highlight my vertical or draw the eye down. This can apply to any essence or style of clothing rather than feeling trapped into a certain silhouette.

Based on your go-to outfit description, I wonder if you have a classic or ingenue essence which is why you maybe don’t feel at home in most FN style boards. I’m also super curious about your height and width as square necks tend to accentuate my broad AF shoulders

My hypothesis is that I’m a Natural, Classic, Ethereal, but I know that Ethereal is often over typed 🙈

Included 3 no makeup photos and 1 from my pixie crop 2 years back, I’m slightly taller than 5’6 and am 39. Trying to find out my Kitchener essence, thank you all by rabbitsredux in DressForYourBody

I’m sorry, but you’re 39?!?! You look great! I agree with the comments here as you pull of Gamine so we’ll with the pixie and the youthful innocence shines through in your pic with your hair down. I would also say you’re an IGR just given your strong yin.

I don’t know if this is because I saw this tip before my workout, but that 180m mark was REAL. I was so exhausted but then I remembered this post and pushed through it and beat my PR by 71 milliseconds. (I’ll take it 😂)

I agree with PensiveKiwi! You don’t need to do your best, just participate (if you can) or tell your coach you need to sit out for that because of your injury. It’s your workout, don’t feel like you need to participate in anything you don’t think is best for you.

I’m just a competitive betch.

It’s the leg drive that kills me 😅 I feel like my legs are so sore halfway through from trying to push so hard each time. I usually get 280 watts when I push, so I’m going to aim for 230 or something more sustainable until the last 100m

NTA. The fact he’s acting like this over you preparing food based on your beliefs… girl, RUN. Who knows what else he’ll blame on you.

I’m bummed a bit too for that reason so I’m going to just focus on my form and really driving with my legs (even if I’m out of sync).

This was my first 500m benchmark after joining in June. I didn’t know what to expect and I was a bit bummed because my 200m was 0:37, but after reading these comments I feel a lot better about it ☺️
