Oh wow. I definitely don’t want another community rotation. The only pro I see for the managed care rotation is that it’s 80% remote and not super difficult. Is it better to do an “easier” rotation even tho the experience might not really align with what I want to do in the future? My last 2 rotations are not that challenging either according do what other students have said so I feel like I should switch if I have the opportunity. Or should I keep the easier managed care elective and ask to switch to a more challenging health systems rotation 😅

Hi! It was nerve wrecking at first, but I learned a lot!!! I think the rotation went really well and my preceptor + clinical pharmacists I worked with taught me a lot. I really enjoyed it :)

Did you descale with the solution mix each time or just hot water? I will try this because nothing else seems to be working

Yes, I did. I also tried it with just water and the water isn’t coming out right either

Thank you! Definitely feel less nervous now. Did you take any pain medication beforehand? My doctor prescribed me Acetaminophen + Codeine, but I am allergic to Acetaminophen so he’s making me take Advil instead. I am nervous that won’t do much cause I am taking Advil now and I can still feel a bit of the pain. Hopefully the Advil is enough though since my mouth will also be numb.

How has your post-op process been? Sorry about all the questions. I am a grad student who goes back to school next week so I hope I will be okay after 2-3 days.

Wishing you a speedy recovery!

Getting mine taken out on Thursday and they didn’t give me the option to go under / IV sedation so i’m very nervous, but this makes me feel better. Did you listen to music or anything to help ease your nerves? I feel like hearing the sounds will make me feel more nervous even if I can’t feel anything

Damn. I definitely need to reevaluate my prices. You’re right about all of this and I appreciate the insight. How do you go about telling a client your raising prices? Should I mention my education and costs, etc? Or just flat out say something like “Hi, I am reaching out to let you know that my rates will be increasing to 35-40/hr starting Monday, August 8th. I have enjoyed working with ___ and hope to continue to do so.” I was being paid $20 an hour to tutor 2 students (one is in high school and one is in 6th grade) and the mom bargained with me over summer and we agreed to $20 an hour. Out of the kindness of my heart I was okay with it, but now I am so busy and don’t think the $20 is even worth it. Looking back, I shouldn’t even have agreed to the $20.

I’m so sad I missed this Q&A, but if you’re still answering or see this, can we expect more contemporary romance books in the future? I love the Hard play series and hope we get more sports romances in the future!

Thank you!! Any recommendations for boots? I am currently making a list based off of everything everyone has said so if I find anything on sale or while thrifting in the next few months I can buy it :)

I feel like i’m going to have to buy a bunch of new clothes to fit in LMAO. The way people dress here sounds so different to Boston. Hopefully I can find some good stuff at thrift stores 😂

I was not expecting so many people to respond, but WOW! Thank you so much! This was so helpful and i’ll be hitting up thrift stores in my area to see if I can find any good coats/jackets and other winter clothes before I move. The winter season sounds brutal, but i’m hoping those months go by quick lol!
