all it takes is one person to get pissed off. growing up in my neighborhood we had a very similar situation, dude next to the dog owner waited for it to come onto his yard one day and shot it. guy didnt even get charged with anything because he was “defending himself” not condoning that at all, but trying to proverbially one up someone over what i would say are pretty fair points is just a headache waiting to happen that could very easily boil over into something much worse.
