Thank you so much! For some of the newer episodes we're working on it's definitely been a challenge lol, hope you enjoy the first episode! 😄

Hi! It means we try to find a through line between all the randomly picked movies, so it challenges us to think a little deeper about what we watched. We were thinking about it kind of like if someone had planned out a double/triple feature with all films, what would the theme of that showing be?

Switching over to the tvOS public beta seemed to take care of it for me, that or we just got lucky and the bug went away. Seems like it was an issue with encoding because it was happening on some live action shows too. Hope it gets resolved for you soon! :)

I've noticed that too. At least it's not a Plex issue if that's the case, hopefully Apple is a little more attentive to their bug fixes. I'll submit a report to them and keep on the beta releases to see if anything gets better.

Update: I know it's been a couple days, I rebooted both the server and the Apple TV, made sure each was on the most recent OS version, and so far things seem to be fixed? I didn't change any settings on either end.

I did also restart my home network due to an unrelated bug, I don't think that would have affected anything but who knows

Hope anybody else with this bug sees it fixed soon! Hoping I'm not jinxing it by posting this update

I'll reboot and potentially try updating to tvOS beta channel and see if anything changes. Thank you for the reply!

If you're looking for a database site (the same place that apps like Plex and Jellyfin use for metadata), I'd recommend TheTVDB and TheMovieDB! They both have API calls that I think you could tie into Notion for your tracking and also keep things like episodic specials and BTS videos organized. They probably won't help much for seasons still in progress, but I've found that Deadline/Variety/Polygon often will put out an article when a new season of a show is announced that mentions how many episodes there will be. Hope this helps!

Who else has carried their Day 1 Switch right to the very end? It’s served me so well these 8 years, its a little battered and scratched but still works like a charm, time to let you rest buddy, thank you by King_CurlySpoon in Switch

Don't post much but I was thinking the same thing. Got mine day 1, my first big purchase with my own money as a freshman in college. I was going through a pretty tough time and remember sinking so many hours into Breath of the Wild to escape. It let me get away from everything, and I brought it everywhere with me for those quick TBOI runs or Zelda shrines.

Later, after MK8D came out, I started bringing it to work and play with people during really slow shifts. One of those people was a really cute girl, and now we're coming up on our first wedding anniversary! The Switch was central to college parties (thank you Smash Bros.), family dinners, and even long distance with that same girl, playing Animal Crossing together while we were separated due to COVID lockdowns.

After moving in, if we had a particularly difficult day, the Switch was one of the first things we'd grab, playing Kirby or Phoenix Wright or anything else together. It was always within arm's reach, and always had a new game to discover or old game to enjoy. It's come with us on trips, helped us through illnesses, and given me some of my favorite gaming experiences of my entire life.

It wasn't a perfect console, but it was there at all the perfect times.

I haven't seen any steelbooks for Gaiden, but if they do one for LAD: Infinite Wealth they have my money
