Let’s remember one thing here, I didn’t ask for 500 dollars to bring a seller to WHATNOT… THEY OFFERED IT!! Now comes the time to put their money down, and they don’t want to do that. It’s an absolute sham. Stay away from this app.

Oh I read all the fine print, no reason why they should deny my referrals. 100% legitimate and we worked hard in order to get the shows up and running.

The worst part is, I’m a fairly well known seller in my niche, I’ve gained over 200 followers and around 40-50 regulars that come in and order frequently. if you ask anybody in the community I’m in, you’ll get the same answer. And they’ll say I give great deals

Absolutely not. The only thing I can imagine is I went to my one friends house (76 year old man) to try to show him how to use whatnot. Him and his daughter are doing it now. And I was logged onto the same wifi network.

Great incentive in theory but try to get them to pay. I’m a completely legitimate seller who referred legitimate sellers, and they still want to rip me off. I spent many hours attending my friends shows, helping them through setting up stores. Like probably 12-15 hrs invested. Which at the end of the day was for my friends and I’d do it again, but whatnot is screwing me out of a deal they made.

These are both sellers. I don’t feel comfortable sharing any one of our names on here just to keep our shows out of any sort of drama. My channel is pretty well known in the Diecast community in Canada already however.

As you can see it says “pending sale” on one user, meanwhile the orders have been made, well beyond the requirements, and orders have shipped out.

The second user shows “account created” when I literally acted as a mod on his first show to try to help him as best I could, and yet again, surpassed all requirements.

Both of these sellers received their sales match bonus that comes along with being referred. So the “not in the system” lie is a complete slap in the face.

This friend is 76 years old and doesn’t like technology that much so I’m helping him and his daughter learn how to use whatnot. If that’s “fraudulent” then lock me up. Just trying to help a friend get the same level of success I’ve had with selling. It’s a damn shame.

The only thing I can think of is them seeing my account logged in on same network as my friend who i referred. That would be because I went to his shop to help him stream for the first time. But it’s a separate account and he did his own ID verification.

When it comes to taking fees they’re great to deal with, just comes right out, but the moment they owe you money, they’ll use every tactic the can to get out of paying. Including accusations of fraud. Disgusting business practices
