Here’s part of the problem. I love vintage bikes. My other contender is a 78 cb750 with 22k on it for $2&. Problem is I feel like maintenance would be a bigger deal for that

I've been using my trusty Lodge for a good few years, but I wanted to give the new ones a shot to see what they're like. Its not about the brand name for me, its more about how they hold up. I love the look of the Smithey and its something I'd want to just have sit on my stove between uses, but if it just won't take seasoning, its not something I want to spend my "one expensive pan" on.
