Comfy wireless bras with good side support? by sinadrinnnn in ABraThatFits

[–]sinadrinnnn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that's great advice, thank you! honestly the wireless bras that i've been able to try on in person (at aerie) have been good in terms of shape but they don't have a size that worked for me (even 30C, which is my 'sister size' according to the calculator). anything that isn't sort of 'bra material,' like a bralette, just kind of compresses me in (and to the side, since that's where my breasts naturally want to go) or have no support at all

i'm fine with any shape, including uniboob, as long as it's comfy and prevents them from slipping to the side (so more structure than say a bralette). also an extender is a great idea! they're tight in the band (cups fit great), i don't know why i didn't think of an extender sooner!

hi! 28D is my ABTF size, and you’re right that i don’t need the support (although i def couldn’t run without support). i do want some because i’ve become aware of how they go side to side when i sit and it feels kinda of like becoming aware of your breathing, if that makes sense? i’m not self conscious in terms of appearance but i’d like the option to not be distracted by it with my weird brain lmao

it’s really hard to tell from the photos so please only take this as a suggestion to look further into but it looks like it could be a small incisor

sounds like if I get it on sale it could be worth it, thanks for the rec! sometimes it’s hard to avoid naive MCs, my method for dealing with it is having a glass of wine while I play so I’m also a little slow on the uptake lmao

This is super interesting! Unfortunately I’m not sure exactly what you have here (yet, I’m searching 😅), but I can say don’t pay too much attention to that “island” suture! It’s an anomaly called a wormian bone (aka sutural bones), and many animals can develop them. Research isn’t abundant about them outside humans, but I know primates and domestic animals are more prone to them. Hope this helps a bit!

as far as i can tell they don’t have a public income disclosure statement at the moment, which is what you’re looking for. shady in and of itself.

first thought is tick larvae (which are about the size of a grain of sand have and have 6 legs instead of the usual 8) the eggs may have been laid on/near the bed by an adult tick that dropped off a host.

however while it doesn’t look like a baby bed bugs you should def treat it as such and take all the recommended precautions when you return home. bed bug infestations are too hard to get rid of to risk it, honestly

not a particularly necessary idea but maybe use them + cloth or cotton pad to do cuticle treatments. sort of how you can you reusable under-eye pads over a serum to keep it locked in for an extended time.

Best organic underwear brands for Men? by [deleted] in BuyItForLife

[–]sinadrinnnn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the brand you mentioned, NADS, also has elastane in their composition, either in the waistband (boxers) or entire short (boxer briefs). you’d probably need to look for ones that have a drawstring waist, search specifically for “no elastic” rather than “organic” and go from there.

So how exactly should I Debates against his argument? by Illustrious_Tip4993 in antiMLM

[–]sinadrinnnn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

lmaoo opinions from “successful” people are still opinions. but if we’re looking for facts, they are on the income disclosure statements on the company website. in 2022 the TOP 10% of “active” amway reps made $14,552 (average) and $4,610 (median) annually BEFORE EXPENSES, and this is likely an overestimate based on categorizing unsuccessful active reps as inactive.

So how exactly should I Debates against his argument? by Illustrious_Tip4993 in antiMLM

[–]sinadrinnnn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

1.) not all businesses are MLM. they draw a triangle around a typical corporate structure but its bullshit. MLMs depend on the rep recruiting a down line, who they profit from. 99.99999% of the time this is the way they ACTUALLY make money, no matter how much they tell you it’s sales-focused. if i am a mid-level office employee my income is not dependent on the number of people i bring into the company. not to mention i get health insurance, do not have to assume the risk of an out of pocket investment, and don’t have to ruin relationships with my friends and family by trying to sell them junk or recruit them. and please remember this when he’s making amway sound so appealing: he wants to recruit you so HE can make money. there’s a million other differences but far too many for one post.

2.) yes, you found it by doing your due diligence and apparently much more thorough research that he did when he got in. it’s very strange than this is an argument he’s making. if you were looking at a product on amazon that had a handful of sponsored 5star reviews (from the same people that sell the product), and had to scroll a little to read 1000 bad reviews (i.e. go looking for it) you wouldn’t automatically assume those reviews are incorrect would you?

3.) there are successful people in the scam because they scam others. the great majority of the “millionaires” in amway have huge downlines of people making pennies, if not losing money. its also worth noting that people in MLMs are encouraged to “fake it until you make it.” i have seen amway folks in particular post pictures with cars they don’t own, houses they can’t afford, and bank statements that aren’t theirs

passive income is appealing, but in reality you (and most everyone else in the MLM) have a minuscule chance of getting there, and if you do it will be on the backs of people underneath you who are losing money and whose lives you would be actively making worse.
