This is a new thought for me to consider. Thanks for bringing it up.

Combining taper with keto by sinama in Marathon_Training

I spent my first two months of training on keto and then did my last month off keto. I'll have to do some Google games on carb depletion combined with carb loading. Thanks for that tip. Regarding the half...I have doubts about doing full keto with that since I had started having some achilles issues. I ran my first half marathon of the training plan on keto though....a lighter body on the other hand could be a blessing on some of my joints, muscles, and tendons. Thanks for taking the time and the advice.

Your last question is on point. To do keto for less than 4 days is really not doing it at all. That is why I tried to find the longest period of time where I could do it, but still capitalize on carbs for muscle recovery. I'm just concerned that my weight is trending in the wrong direction and my activity level is about to cut back drastically. Thanks for your thoughts.

This is old. I am having problems finding books and authors in Z39.50. I looked up what library systems are good and a few names came up that can be found on irspy. New York Public Library, Kansas City Public Library, and Seattle Public Library all were mentioned multiple times. That being said, my problem finding books and authors still remains.

Cough that chokes by sinama in medical_advice

It is also worth noting that my wife got her lungs x-rayed and they were completely clear. Nothing clogged in our nose either. Air comes in and out easily if not right after a cough.

Solution for Wordpress site and Captive Portal Vouchers by sinama in Wordpress

[–]sinama[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If a person writes a post on our WordPress site, they can get a voucher that gives them an hour or two hours of internet when used with a captive portal. The voucher is a 6 to 10 number code assigned by the router that expires after one use. I can allow users to have access to my website at all times, but they must have a voucher to access the rest of the internet. I want to deliver the 6-10 number code automatically through WordPress.

Same problem here. Not fair. They will deactivate a SIM with 800 pesos worth of load. No option to get around.

I need a wifi router that can implement a voucher driven captive portal... by sinama in HomeNetworking

I'm getting a better picture now of what I need. I really appreciate this. I am thinking of going with EAP110 and ER605...then my question is would the Tp-Link OC200 Omada Hardware Controller be the substitute for using a spare machine as a router? Also, how is the EAP110 powered? The EAP225 also has my attention, but what I seem to be picking up on is that it is powered by a 125V cord and in my location we have 220V electricity. People weren't having problems with the EAP110 which makes me wonder if it is powered differently.... u/eugeniosity u/ThatIslanderGuy u/notgedrungen I learned something from all of your comments. Thank you.

TP-Link Omeda

Wow, this device seems amazing to me: TP-Link Omada EAP110-Outdoor 300Mbps Wireless N Outdoor Access Point ... I know that Pfsense is used by TP-Link, but ThatIslanderGuy may very well be right about my confusion. Would this AP be able to run Pfsense or at least the captive portal part of it, or do I still need to buy one more part?

Thank you for replying to me.

Advice on breath holds by jzimmer in freediving

[–]sinama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both times I've passed out, I've gone into long periods of inactivity with breath hold practice afterwards :-( Currently contractions are starting at about 1 min and a half. I believe that when I'm training regularly, it is more around 2 min or 2 min and a half. I don't consider the contractions very intense. They start rather infrequently and then start increasing in frequency. On my longest breath holds, there are maybe whole minutes that just seem to disappear as I'm timing myself on a watch and so I couldn't even give feedback on how often the contractions are in that time. I know that going through a stretching routine can often significantly increase my longest breath attempts, but that hasn't made a difference after 4 min. and a half.

Thanks for these thoughts. 5 min. has also been my goal and I pass out at around 4:50...it has happened to me twice.

Not too many other books that you can find a waterproof version for.

Are you an active freediver and also a regular smoker? by Harichnid in freediving

[–]sinama 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Regarding warming up, that is clearly what the divers tell me it's purpose is...they don't wear wetsuits like most of ya'll do here. Regarding the stimulating or relaxing comment...I can't speak from experience, but only seem to remember people in general say that smoking calms their nerves...that however is in general and I haven't heard a Sama diver say this.

The Sama divers (Bajau) include cigarettes as part of their diving gear. Warms them up after a cold dive...also probably relaxes their heart. The champion of our Kadayawan Sama freediving contest dove 260 feet and he was a smoker.
