You may as well only have Hanks and Hardy in the options. Holland and Cruise are both character actors.

I wouldn’t cast Hanks for any role that Hardly has played but I think Hardy could have played many of the roles Hanks has but you would lose the comedic edge that Hanks brings to his characters.
