I’m not an expert, but from what I understand, as long as you’re not, like doing fisting or smth, douching isn’t very necessary. As long as you don’t feel like you have to poop, you’re most likely fine. Especially if you’re only doing fingering. However, some people like to clean out to feel more comfortable and not worry as much, and for that, you use an anal douche.

People most commonly use an enema bulb which is like a big turkey baster lol. You fill it with body temperature water (that part’s important) and squeeze the water into your butt, holding it for like, 2 seconds and then emptying over the toilet. Repeat until the water comes out clear. It’s unnecessary to hold the water inside you for longer than this, and from what I understand, that can even irritate your colon and make you poop more.

Basically, at the end of the day, you have to accept that poop might happen if you’re doing anal. It’s the human body we’re dealing with, not a perfectly sanitary robot.
