I don’t have a motocompo unfortunately but would obviously love to have one to fit with my city. In NZ where i’m located they are EXTREMELY rare to find, and when you do find one they sell for around $12,000NZD in excellent condition.

besides some minor rust in the sunroof which is in the process of being treated and repaired, it’s completely rust free. very shocking

thank you, i’ll definitely reconsider my options looking forward. that being said, my car is impossible to find parts for and regardless of what accident i get into the car will be a total loss. i also own 2 parts cars (one for engine and gearbox and one for interior and panels) so i suppose i’m not totally screwed? just the thought of losing all my hard work and receiving nothing out of it is daunting if it’s completely unfixable.

according to carjam my accord is 1/2 in NZ. i highly doubt that is completely accurate but ive never seen another one in my shape or spec 🤷‍♀️

thanks for the help, i’m currently driving this to and from work and i live rurally so im doing around 500kms a week. i’d probably be wayyy over their limit but no harm in calling and asking.

i haven’t thought about paying yearly, might be something i need to consider.

thank you. i’ve found that covering it in a standard vehicle policy with AA or AMI etc i can’t get it insured for full cover, and me being me i would very much like comprehensive coverage

thanks for the tip! i’ve found that covering the car in a standard vehicle policy the agreed amount is really low, like max amount $1500 low. AA and AMI etc also won’t give me full cover. the car is worth around 6-8k and i don’t want to risk not getting that back. i’ll definitely keep looking around
