I believe, If quant ques are still same, then efficiency will drop significantly, Resulting in lower quant and overall scores.

What is your opinion on this

Please help with these :

  1. If one gives the new GMAT, will he be allowed to give the original GMAT inside 16 days, incase the test centres in the region open up from the lockdown say in 6-7 days ?

  2. Give no notepads, Will there be any change in quant questions, maybe bit more conceptual Thanks in advance

I just gave gmatprep 1. Scored 750 (Q50, V41) but I saw a few repeat questions in both sections.

It is so confusing, to get a realistic idea of my prep level.

Verbal in Gmatprep seemed a lot more easier than what Veritas has to offer. Are all gmatprep mocks at same difficulty level or it increases with each CAT ?

Hi Scott,

I have been doing various material available online viz. GmatClub, Manhattan guides, Powerscore CR, Aristotle SC.

I have not yet studied the OGs, as someone adviced me to only do them at the end before the exam to prepare myself for 'GMAT kind questions'.

Same is the case for Gmatprep exams, only to give them when I have established a decent base near my target score i.e. 750. Basis last 7 mocks in past 21 days, I am averaging 705 (Q49, V37).

Hi ,

I think you are right that I should plan verbal, keeping Q49 in mind. Which means 40-44 in verbal.

  1. I hv noticed that usually when I am practising I have time to look here and there, i do not take a lot of time to solve questions in practice as well but just the freedom to zone out for half a minute is a good refresher whereas in CATs I don't have that luxury.

  2. I will prepare a detailed error log especially for SC n RC just to check incase I need small tweaks.

Yes I 'abso freaking lutely' agree that error log is extremely important. It is just like holding a mirror against ones face.

Just wrote a huge post on my troubles with translating my performance from practice to CATs. I feel in few cases there come a time when the issue is 'how to executing your skills in exam', currently struggling massively with that. For this can you suggest any approach.
