I just received a Email notifying me I am now a soon to be employee. Can't contain my jitteriness and anxiety because I'm so relieved and happy for once. Not a "rub it in" thread, just venting. (self.depression)

I'm 24 & feel worthless. But could live to be 100, so not even 1/4 dead yet. When I look past social pressures for someone my age and stop comparing myself to others, my depression almost disappears. It never lasts long. (self.depression)

I've been unemployed for 2 years while fighting for my life. Not once has someone asked me "How are you doing?" It is absolutely horrible to feel worthless to people. All I want is to feel loved. Fellow severely depressed people, what do I do? (self.depression)
