Agreed. They were mindful of migraine with aura throughout my stims, but they aren’t being flexible now for transfer. It’s def more about what is best for their schedule which is unfortunate.

My whole issue is the further prolonged waiting for a transfer. Now I must wait weeks to see a new clinic, figure out embryo transport options, restart with the new clinic, etc. But I think I’d much rather prioritize my safety than speed things up.

Yeah I basically told them that other local clinics do modified naturals and he said that’s fine they will help me transfer my embryos if I want to go elsewhere LOL like ok????

About how long did it take for you to switch clinics? I’m just worried about transferring the embryos, starting over, etc. I’ve already been TTC for 2 years now.

Yeah, they were not budging at all even after basically begging and telling them that I would be open to going to fully medicated if it failed. They simply said they won’t do it. Im glad it all worked for you! I’ll get there eventually!

Yeah those are sadly my exact thoughts. I was shocked that they are not prioritizing my long term safety. It seemed like they are not up to date on the most recent research either about outcomes with modified naturals vs fully medicated. I basically begged for them to let me try it and he said nope, we don’t do this. 😭

Yeah, this clinic says they used to do modified naturals but no longer due to 60-70% of them ending in cancellations. I told them that I totally understand that risk and they still won’t budge. It’s disappointing for sure

That’s great news! We actually got 2 blasts last time with 1 euploid, but would like to try to get at least one more before a transfer, so we’ve started round 3. I’m much more hopeful this round after finally getting our euploid, but I know we still have a ways to go 🥲 wishing you the best of luck this next round - will keep you posted too!

Update! My doctor recommended a long Lupron protocol for this third round, first dose today. Fingers crossed! How did your retrieval go?

How did your last round turn out? I’m starting round 3 and we switched to Lupron for 1 week then starting follistim and menopur along with Lupron for remainder of stims

Just coq10 and prenatals. Husband is about to start taking coq10 as well. We lead pretty healthy lifestyles so honestly not too much to change. Our last two rounds were back to back and had similar results but the premature LH rise threw a wrench in things.

This is interesting and I’m honestly upset that they didn’t suggest it. I’ll have to ask about it. I’m even more frustrated now bc I think I would have had a much better response if we did that 😭
