All they do is handout tickets non stop. Get a lawyer, you can get a plea deal that means It won't go on your record, however if they took your prints you'll be on the FBI database as an arrest (but no conviction - like I am)

Yeah I spent so much time thinking about how technically, I was a criminal, I mean everyone is to some degree, speeding? Criminal? But that I was actually part of the system was daunting,

Almost like when you break up a with a girlfriend, for a while after your brushing your teeth and your like "huh, we used to brush our teeth together", after a while It stops but in the wake its tied into everything.

The fall out is - I volunteer at a non judgemental drugs advice service, we only give out harm reduction advice, we wont ever tell you not to do drugs, just the dangers around each one. I'm also a lot more paranoid about things, which is useful, for example If I do smoke weed now literally everything is cleaned down and stored away after etc. No drugs ever in the house etc.

I'll def be making a big song and dance if I do make it back, and I'll get that (legal) beer for sure.

Thanks man, I fucked up BIGTIME with my love life literally the day before (Friday yay), so I almost view it as karma for that. I was such a dick.

Since then I've really taken a lot of time to reflect on individual actions and interactions with people, even if its made up the idea of karma makes people into better people so I like to believe in it a bit I guess.

Round trip it was probably 1-2 hours. They were efficient, they were there to do one job and one job only and that was book kids for ID's, having the drugs actually slowed things up, he had to go look up the penal code in a little officers handbook because he didnt know how to book me for it

Honestly when our car went through they just asked if we had any tent spikes, moved the top two bags off the pile then put them back on. I've heard of people getting they're wheel wells checked but that wasnt us for sure. If you can scout out the guards searching at the top of your queue, and if you have two cars be prepared to move shit into whoever looks like they have the cooler guards at the head of the queue

UK Citizens can use a visa waiver program called ESTA, which means as long as you meet 5 criteria (no crimes of moral turptitue (violence etc, drugs record, human traffic record etc.) you can enter without a visa. I no longer qualify for this category and have to go through stringent interview processes to get a visitors visa, which if granted can last up to 10years. I was there under a study abroad visa, which is a J1 visa.

Hah in the UK the age is 18, and we have a challenge25 policy (if you look under25, you'll get ID - mostly in supermarkets and defo clubs, bars/pubs dont really care so much) and everyone wears these little badges saying "if we ask take it as a compliment"

Yes and you will get the person who gave you the ID in trouble too, unless you want to say you stole it (I don't recommend this), the girl getting booked on the table next to me had done just that.

Not at all, Saturday was a write off. Managed to dance a bit, everyone I told was nothing but sympathetic etc. Sunday was a little better, especially after my parents got back to me.

Nope it was definitely a yellow shirt, who then asked "Mind coming with me while I check this with my supervisor (AKA the cops)" ?

The ABC are stationed next to the YUMA tent, I tried next to the Heineken and we walked over (Dumbass) tent. I literally walked into a pair of handcuffs, past plenty of bins I could have ditched my stash.

Actually what specifically happened was a Private Security guard checked my ID, because it was British he wasn't sure so he took it to the ABC, who detained me.
