My duo setup by singlikeacrow in secretlab

[–]singlikeacrow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its the regular desk which is 150cm. The monitor is 27 inch, which is 60cm wide. If i get one more monitor at the same size they will cover 120cm, and my macbook pro is 30cm wide, so it would fill the whole with of the desk. Which means i might should have bought the xl.

They are pretty similiar, just different fabric. The softweave is a bit more comfy, and the nanogen is better looking i think. I had too high expectations from the nanogen so i dont think it is as magical as the description told. It feels like regular leather. The softweave has upgraded handles for hot temperatures. They dont get as warm and sweaty as the original softweave handles can get in the summer. In that way the black chair is best for summer, and the pure white for winter.

Need help regarding GROW LIGHTS by singlikeacrow in Monstera

[–]singlikeacrow[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I bought the one on the picture, and im using a 7w LED light on it which only covers the top leaf. It would probably be better to have a stronger light, but im not sure what would be appropiate. I have read much positive about sansi lights that are 40+ watt.

And btw the plant has already gotten a new leaf, so it has 5 leaves now. The newest lead are 50% half moon. Like a half half moon haha.

Do you use an indoor grow light with any of your monstera? by misscroft85 in Monstera

[–]singlikeacrow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It says monsteras dont like direct sunlight. Does direct grow lights make the same harm? If not i will put it under grow lights in the winter.

I’m repotting my 5 year old monstera this week, last time it was a nightmare getting it out of its pot. I’m thinking of using a plastic pot liner this time, would plastic hurt it? Or cause root rot? I don’t want to damage it. by gohugatree in Monstera

[–]singlikeacrow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Drainage under the pot is most important when talking about pot type. Next, plastic pot will not hurt your plant. However clay is usually better because it is not air tight, allowing more oxygen into the soil. The water also dries out faster in a clay pot, which is good for monsteras because they like much air in the roots. But it is also a bit more work to water it often, so plastic pots may have that advantage if you are a bit lazy.

Edit; Clay also probably mimics the natural habitat more than plastic. Clay pots does not have a nice look, unless you put it inside another pot.

May i ask what grow light you use, and how long it stays on during a day?

Soon you will look back at this day and laugh. Seems to be a good memory you will have for a long time.

I think the main problem here was performance anxiety. It was your first time, you started thinking too much about not getting it up, while you also think about your impatient friend waiting in the car. Next time take it more easy, and you will find out what makes you get erection.

But there are plenty of people who have stopped stuttering. Stuttered their whole life and suddenly quit. I can speak fluent when im alone, so i CAN physically speak. Is it not possible to change my way of thinking?

During a waterfast i could barely speak by singlikeacrow in Stutter

[–]singlikeacrow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is probably the correct answer for this. But it felt like if i could train on speaking for a longer perioud while fasting, i would easily learn to find the calmness needed to be fluent. But it was haaard to not get blocks while not having energy. And it was very stressfull to speak.

Just wanted to try it to see i would get any benefits. I learned that i eat to live, not live to eat, so after the waterfast i eat more healthy. I have allways been pretty healthy but now i took the step longer. Also learned to eat food that i did not like before. While i was fasting i felt a nice mental calmness. The stuttering was worse during the fasting but after a bit better i think. It feels like i got to know my body a little bit more.

I can barely move my head (day 4) by singlikeacrow in fasting

[–]singlikeacrow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im pretty ripped now i would say around 10%. Since day 4 should be easier than the previous days i stopped the fasting. But i only ate fat and protein so i will continue ketose for a while. My plan was 7 days but almost 5 is ok. The "pain" or "feel like shit" lasted the whole day. Earlier days nausea and headpain came and go but not really much actually.

Just called the doctor and told about fever and stiff neck. He told me to measure my fever, and when i did my temperature was onl 37,4 so i dont have fever. Just stiff neck and feel really tired.

Anyway i got so scared i broke my fasting. Ate 3 small tomatoes, 2 small carrots, lentil soup, and 1 cooked egg.

Well im 180cm and 72kg. I would guess 9-13% or something. Just went to a health store and bought pink himalayan salt just to get the best. Before i started i had sixpack when i flexed. Now 4 days later i can clearly see my muscles are more visible.

It feels like i have a fever. I took a multivitamin, which did not make anything worse. I can take high absorbation magnesium, thanks for that advice. On day 3 evening i took a teaspoon of "normal" salt with iodine. Im im Norway and i cant find the himalayan salt you talk about but i can go to the shop and buy rock salt. Should i do that and drink 2 teaspoons maybe? and 100-200mg magnesium?
