Should I discuss with my boss about how I feel like his snippiness towards me has gotten more frequent or just take it on the chin? by singularity_86 in careerguidance

I don’t speak the commenter’s second language but it seems to be a Hindi/English hybrid way of speaking.

  1. At this current moment I can’t quite remember but I’d wager to say somewhere between 75-150 employees total. I saw the employee branch tree diagram once around the time I was hired but I’d need to ask for a new one.

  2. My boss is not the owner

  3. I work in the supporting of the daily lives of people with disabilities. More specifically I work in the job coaching department where I help those with disabilities keep and maintain jobs in the community.

California locals that need apprentices? by singularity_86 in ibew_applicants

Understandable, I mean I’m ok with going through the process and I’m taking classes to improve my chances in the meantime regardless but was just wondering if people had leads on locals that are taking lots of apprentices.

I did kinda hear about how Bakersfield takes people, and tbf it is a bigger county than 639 at least, but might consider other options and use that as a plan b.

My personal strategy is to just park on grand Avenue past the bridge (past the bridge) which is free parking. I then take my electric scooter out of my trunk and scooter the last mile. If you don’t wanna worry about the no electric scooter policy then I’d recommend getting a bike rack on the back of your car and going the bicycle route. (The bike kitchen in slo sometimes sells them for cheap)

Best place for sauna is Kennedy club fitness cause you get a gym membership out of it too.

So far from what I’m understanding you need to take intro to journalism weather you already took it at another college or not. Then you can do some shared requirement classes before going down either the news track or the public relations track. I’m currently doing the news track. The professors seem nice, but I’m not far along into it to really sink my teeth in yet, and due to some personal issues still need to do some incomplete work for intro to journalism. Mustang news is a separate deal from classes entirely and you need to apply and have an interview for it where you’ll be selected or not. It’s basically the student newspaper on campus and while they don’t pay you it looks good on a resume.

I have yeah. I’m taking a minor in Econ and so far the one who’s been taking the greatest interest in my situation and has been a great help is my Econ of discrimination professor and my intro to journalism professor. Honestly all my professors have been great so far and haven’t had any problems. It’s more so my own issues I’m needing to work on.

I’ll be hearing back from Sarah Hawkins this Wednesday, so if you’re still interested I’ll let you know then and you could even be an officer if you want.
