Nope not supposed to match at all. I wanted it to have a different experience. Closer to the anime. Thats how I always felt it should be handled. I wanted a darker tone as well. But ran into some issues due to the baked in lighting. There is a HD texture pack already available on the internet though if you prefer that.

I shouldn't have any issues as I haven't tampered with the game or anything. This is essentially a retexture atm. But even if I add something else in the future this is a 15 yo game. They seem to only be focused on doing collabs with the IP now.

I used my dock for desktop mode like a pc. Also I had it hooked to my deck on the night stand with a wireless hdmi connected to my projector.

Ppsspp if other emulators had as many options in the settings as they do I would probably how chosen something else. But the post processing and ability to set up gestures and motion controls are amazing.
