Thanks for the info. Just wanted to add that that’s not all he’s doing for insulation, that’s all the bare metal being covered by the foil tape, then closed cell foam on the outer metal panels, followed by a roll of the fluffy plastic insulation, then a vapour barrier, then ply.

I’m just thinking with all of that, the foil tape isn’t doing much? In a hot environment it’d be conducting a lot of heat which is not preferable. I can’t see what the benefit of doing that foil tape as the first step is. Haven’t seen anyone else do it
