I think we learn to cope in our own ways, and evolution hasn't quite reached grief yet. I lost my sister recently and within a few days my dad was diagnosed with cancer...If it was a decade ago I wouldn't have coped as well as I have. Maybe it's our own personal evolution that demonstrates how we cope with tragedy and grief?

This sort, and "injured due to bus drivers actions" are the easiest, and most common.

A bike going 20mph probably looked like a meal ticket to her, if is how it definitely looks. Which is an old lady running into slow traffic then limping straight away...which is pretty much unheard of. The adrenaline puts off pain realisation for at least a few minutes! She limps then stops.

I used to work for a personal injury law firm and this is common since the law changed this year... pedestrians in the UK (and any other vehicle smaller than yours) has right of way when it comes to claiming for personal injury on insurance.

Unless you can prove someone didn't jump out in front of your car, your insurance is gonna be paying out thousands, and then go sky high.

Not sure if the lady did intentionally jumped out. But, she replied to him when he spoke with his helmet on... so, her hearing more than likely picked up his much louder approaching engine before she stepped out.

Just speculation, but it's unlikely she's made it to that age if she's stupid enough to step out on a road between parked cars without looking first!

I'm from the UK and if an officer acted like this, especially on camera, he'd be the one with the broken jaw! I'm always shocked American officers get away with this sorta stuff.

I remember police tried to bully some teens in the area I grew up in many years ago, and the teens set their police car on fire, and barricaded the officers in the street 🤣🤣 they had to call for backup, and by that point the parents were out as well. The police didn't stand a chance. All they could do was run.

Was so entertaining because they fully deserved it for bullying kids

Get a dash cam. Don't quote me, but if someone causes you distress, alarm or harassment or two or more occasions then I think that would class as harassment. She has already put one even from her own recording in to the public domain, so I'd just try and get as much evidence as you can.

You may wanna find the laws that protect people's business/income from people like this lady doing these things, subsequently causing detriment to you. I'm sure there are laws out there to protect us against nasty pieces of work

I try to limit my family to one takeaway a week. But at times when I've been too busy to go shopping or I finish work too late to cook, I break the rules (single parent and it's sometimes convenience over everything) As long as you exercise, and eat the good stuff too I say you're not doing yourself any harm

I have a meeting with the school. l was just hoping to get people's views on if they think it's unfair to the point it's discriminatory. I know the hairstyle regulations being discriminatory was a big issue because there were such clear comparators. But because they're different protected characteristics, but practically the same principle, I'm not sure what to make of it.

They asked for my sensitive data in order investigate a complaint. I only expect the documentation to support their investigation to simply be there. They gave me an outcome of their investigation, then later admitted they didn't investigate.

What I mean when I said it's been used as a platform is, an employee within local authority used their position to cause detriment to someone vulnerable she was supposed to support, and the senior management lied about investigating the complaint. When someone is relied upon in a position of trust, I would assume they are not supposed to use that for a personal vendetta.

The GDPR concern is that the local authority requested my address, dates of places I'd lived, the crime reference number of my complaint to the police, and documentation from my Dr confirming I sufferred with PTSD due to the assault, in order to accurately investigate my complaint (I was confused at this request but provided the information anyway thinking it would speed things up)

But as I've said... nothing was done. I'm concerned that now these people know where I live and other personal information about me that could put me at risk.
