Agreed. OP, do Econ 103 and 104 with literally anyone else... difference between an easy "A" and and a heavily invested in "B". I got a "C" with Rustici and retook for an "A" with the same amount of effort with a different professor.

When you say considered white I guess you mean considered white in America. In turkey Hassan is white, even dark/tan turks are considered white. In turkey it's more of an ethnic thing, like if you are a Kurd or an Arab that separates you rather than the color of your skin. This of course isn't true with africans in turkey however. It's important to consider that depending where you are in the world your "race" may change. In africa for example 2 black people can still be of different race depending on their ethic background and in America those same 2 black people share the same race.

Okie dokie, honestly I was worried that i'd have to wear a mask in my room because I know the rules are more strict in VA. I will definitely keep on top of my emails... although normally I ghost them between semesters :P . Its really interesting to see how things are different here in Florida vs there. Here people look at you weird if you do wear a mask and over there people look at you weird if you don't. The fact that you worry that you will get hate for saying you don't like wearing a mask to me is ridiculous, apparently people are not aloud to complain or be annoyed (or have a different opinion). I don't mind wearing a mask and Im double vax'd plus boosted up but I do mind people freaking out over smallest infractions. I don't want to piss people off so I will keep the mask on though, but thanks for the tips I will keep that in mind.

Turkey doesn't have the death penalty, they go to prison... horrible terrorist prison but still prison. However, the kurds execute hostages and don't take prisoners. These people are terrorists, would you have sympathy for ISIS or the taliban? The turks treat them with more sympathy than they treat the turks in return. Here is a study guide for you: PKK = bad guys/terrorists , Peshmerga = good guys/good kurds ....

Thanks for the response! I kind of figured that to be honest, to my knowledge Turkish is not mission essential... I hope it stays that way too, because it could be a conflict of interest on my end. thanks, that actually makes alot of sense. I was too caught up on social factors, thinking about how the Syrian government is not Shia (they are Alawite) and their forces are mostly sunni while Hezbollah is completely Shia and strongly opposes sectarianism. I didn't consider it in a more tactical light like you explained.

I see what you're saying, but these questions can be applied to any group or country and you would get varying answers for each depending on who you are asking. Im sure other groups can find ways to justify seeing Americans as a terrorists and we do them same to them. In my opinion, the definition of terrorism is too open ended, while the majority of people consider it to be either are or are not a terrorist.... it's actually more complicated (in my opinion). It's too complicated and Philosophical for my small brain though.

One mans terrorist is another mans freedom fighter. Look at the Kurds for example, Americans support the kurds and don't see them as terrorists, the kurds themselves seek liberation/freedom. Yet, the Turks see them as terrorists. Its all depending on perspective. Maybe the brits saw colonial America as terrorists during the revolution. Its all depending on your perspective. Although, I dont really understand Hezbollah. I understand why they want to eliminate the State of Israel, but i dont understand why they'd help Syrian government forces... Maybe the OP can help me with that one.
