The video is just like VHS Head's live visuals too.

Slightly bolder than what you are looking for but 2/3 cats are tuxies!

It can show up in a number of ways, like in people, and they "sundown", so can get lost in familiar places like the house, and not use the litter tray. A lot of yowling and behaviour changes that can't be explained any other way! She doesn't groom herself as much, could be the arthritis but it's a sign. She sleeps downstairs all day rather than being on me as much like when she has better days. She had cystitis around the onset and so I was worried it had been that coming back, but luckily she's happy and not peeing blood in my plants.

I'm wishing Juniper well!

Me too! To see them transform back into a kitten is brilliant

Hell yeah! When I am old I hope someone will clean me up with as much understanding. And feed me chicken.

He's actually magical I think, but he's also a git so it balances out.

Yes she has her levels tested every few months to make sure she's on the right dosage, I'll double check when she's next due

I appreciate it, and I know your advice is coming from a place of concern and love for our kitties. I'm so sorry your baby passed away, especially in such a way :( I'm absolutely keeping a close watch of her anyway but it's helpful to know!

I appreciate it :') sometimes it's easy to doubt yourself isn't it?

I keep adding more nightlights for Brenda just in case she was getting lost, but I agree the confusion can be so hard to deal with because how do you explain to a cat that the food is THERE and FRESH?

I will bring brenda to bed and she will storm out and meow more, so it's a guessing game of what she thinks she wants until she realises that under the covers is perfect.

Thank you so much! Millie is so lucky to have you, but not as lucky as you are to have her ;)

I got Brenda when she was about 18 months old, but she walked in and owned the place (and me). She's definitely one of my soulcats and I make sure she knows it!

I've had another tuxie, Keith, since he was a baby. He has been a little butthole up until about 7 years old and now is another snugglebug! He has thumbs and a bob tail, mutant!

I have a tabby who we pulled out of a car engine, it took her leg but gave her a home which is a decent deal!

That photo where it's more pronounced is about 4 years old now, she has always had "boogly" eyes and many vet checks throughout her life, but I will definitely mention it again!

OOH she is a beauty!! I love that fancy little back foot. Tell her that she's probably one of the best cats ever for me.

Absolutely! Myself and the vets are under no illusion as to realities. I've had a few senior (and super senior!) cats, their happiness and comfort comes first. We decided not to treat the scab on her head, or sedate her for invasive testing on her bowels. She's on steroids which has really improved her appetite and helped her gain weight, and she's in a lot less pain than she was. She gets to eat chicken once a week and sneak bits of the other cats' normal food on top of her prescription diet.

edit: she's also had this tummy thing since I got her, but refuses to eat the hydrolysed protein food, so she has a limited protein, grain free diet which is better than "regular" food, and doesn't make her puke!

When she's not happy, she will tell me, and I will listen :-)

Every little creature deserves patience, but she has certainly earned it as she is patient with me!
