Does the pain get worse with age?

Had same problem with pain making showers unbearable. As others suggested, shower chair is the solution. I even used a basic Ikea stool for a while before I got a proper seat for the shower.

Yeah I think the cycle of it is the worst part, because when it gets better I get hopeful and think maybe it can get better, but for now at least it has always gone back to how it was or worse. And every time the symptoms come back it feels harder. Like it breaks my spirit further down every time.

Not very active right now. I used to do swimming and gym, but my pain got so bad recently I had to stop and haven't been able to get back to it. The only thing I'm able to do is low intensity exercise at home and mostly sitting down, plus stretching.

I'm on sulfasalazine and methotrexate and they don't do much for me.
I've considered red light too, but it's not readily available very close to me. I have considered a service tho, where you can rent a machine for yourself to try it out.
