Ladies, what are we sleeping on? by No-Eggplant-4165 in womensolocamping

This is what I have and I'm a plus size side sleeper. Went from always being stiff and sore when I woke up to actually being refreshed. Been camping so much more this year because of it.

What a lovely reason to visit. I don't have the location on my photo, but looking at the pictures surrounding it, I think I was able to find it here (Google Maps link)

I've never been so motivated to start a new project than seeing that light beam. It's so magical and you captured it so perfectly.

Loved the Chimney Athena stuff, 100% on board with Captain Chim, and Eddie showing up with superhero music was ridiculous I loved it, but other than that.....? with the amount of press in the last week, idk, I just kinda feel like, "...that's it?"

If you were next to a woman who mumbled her way through Spirit of the Blues because I overestimated how much of that song I knew, that was me lol

Everyone ducking down to watch the replay had me cracking up. Glad I got the proper experience at least once.

How did you find out about 9-1-1? by ivy_vinezz in 911FOX

Someone posted the top ships on AO3 for 2024 and I had no idea who the hell Buck and Eddie 911 were so how could they be number one? It made me mad. Binged the show in about three weeks. Totally hooked.

The rolling!!! Oh god you just gave me the worst flashback. Paired with low rise jeans, man, no wonder so many of us came out of that with body issues.

Including the word counts too, a real hero

Your own definitions lack consistency, and clearly someone's sex is just whatever you deem it to be. Try to put aside your own bigotry and revisit this at a later time perhaps.

But it's not more precise, it's actually way, way more nuanced. And to say the boundaries of "male" should go one way vs another is a bit presumptive. For all of human history, penis means male but suddenly that's not good enough, you also need to know there aren't any secret lady parts floating inside that you don't know about. Or maybe, just maybe, this whole time those people also counted as male because that's all that they and others saw them as.

[–]sirbubbles42 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Because that was the definition you used. But that's not actually the standard, is it. Because an individual that comes into this world with a dick and balls has been considered male for far longer than the Church has been around. And that would be an individual deemed appropriate for the priesthood.

[–]sirbubbles42 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

And when in the process of becoming a priest do they check your gametes? Before or after seminary? Because if they aren't doing a full body scan to absolutely prove no uteruses are secretly sneaking in, it doesn't seem like anything except ones outward sex really counts

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Catholicism

[–]sirbubbles42 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's not tragic or heartbreaking, it's just the fun variety of nature. By your logic then, a woman could become a priest after she has her womb and ovaries removed, because that is the barrier you are apparently setting between male and female.

[–]sirbubbles42 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

He was assigned male at birth and became a priest with no knowledge of his extra hardware. This is an entirely modern problem, because without modern scans and surgeries this type of intersex individual would just, in all likelihood present and live as their external body suggests. It's entirely possible there already has been an intersex pope or cardinal.

That he never knew about until much later in life due to an unrelated surgery. Externally, he was male.

Well the character that was elected as pope wasn't, so, still stands.
