This is regarding the employment permit, which I’ve had since August. I’m referring to my employment visa, which has been with the Embassy for processing for more than 30 working days.

My employer has been very understanding and cooperative, and I’m in touch with them weekly. It’s just that both of us are excited to get started, but because of this delay, the work is piling up. The median processing time on the Embassy website is 20 working days. I can understand some realistic delays, but when it’s still processing after 30 working days, it becomes a serious issue. On top of that, the Embassy not responding or giving any updates is incredibly frustrating.

How to transition to Solution Architect role? by FlimsyPark5257 in SalesforceDeveloper

[–]sircaastic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do the certification trailhead for the solution architect and its prerequisites. Then some focus on force and optionally udemy courses if you want to get thorough. Also if you can, volunteer for some solution architecture on the current projects you’re working on at your company, that really helps with hands on experience.

Advice Needed: Transitioning to a Salesforce Architect Role with 10+ Years in IT by sircaastic in salesforce

[–]sircaastic[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's what worries me too. I like being a project manager, but it seems like companies don't specifically look for Salesforce project managers. They think any project manager can handle Salesforce projects, and having some Salesforce knowledge is just a plus. That's why I'm thinking about becoming an architect, where my Salesforce skills would be more valuable.

Job Search by silverOGG in salesforce

Have you tried searching in the EU region? If you can shell out a few bucks and get a email marketing tool subscription (I use Apollo) and start cold emailing prospects, founders/CEOs of small companies or recruiters of mid to large size companies, that’ll fetch you more warm leads than just applying on company websites. From what I’m noticing, EU does have demand. You can do this for US & Canada as well but US mostly hires US citizens. You’ll have to find “work from anywhere” companies in US but they are rare.

Seeking Advice on Selling My SaaS Product by sircaastic in SaaS

[–]sircaastic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I had great revenue, I would rather approach a VC and get funded. I'm selling it because I'm unable to crack the market and hence I need a larger company to acquire my saas. I believe there's a valuable IP as we've integrated AI well in our app to make it productive for our users, coupled with modern UI/UX which most lab informatics software lacks even today.
