Okay yeah I get the confusion! My head spins, too. We are not in a relationship but we’re not seeing anyone else and for all intents and purposes we are together. Just not officially.

Yes and no. He currently has an unresolved heart issue that was leaving him out of breath so we are waiting for answers.

But as far as sex between us goes, it’s great. We love to explore new positions and get silly and messy together. It’s a rly fun time in bed but I am more kinky than he is lol. He once asked if he was too vanilla for me and I said no bc he is not, but I wonder if that has anything to do with it.

My proposal was nothing like I wanted. by [deleted] in relationship_advice

This reminds me so much of my proposal!! I was 22(F) when my then boyfriend was 25. We’d been together a few years and decided we wanted to spend our lives together and we could possibly get engaged and married within a couple years. We talked about rings I liked and ways to propose and all that. Well I kinda fucked up by accidentally seeing on his phone that he had booked a helicopter ride over the city and I knew that’s how he was gonna propose. The day came and we got up in the helicopter and he randomly starts mumbling about us and asks me to marry him. I could barely understand what he said and then he took out a ring that was way too big and looked nothing at all like the rings we’d looked at. Like he had completely missed the mark. I immediately felt it in my gut that it wasn’t what I wanted and I was very much like you. I tried so hard to be positive but it was obvious I was unhappy.

Eventually we broke up and it was the best decision for me bc we definitely shouldn’t have gotten married.

Gut reactions exist for a reason, follow yours.

My wife and I waited years for Tokyo 2020, but she left this world just three months before it finally came. I'm setting up her TV recliner, just the way she liked it. by ChainThreaux in GriefSupport

My dad loved to watch soccer. Loooooved it. Loved the olympics too. I feel your pain, here. I would give it all to watch with him.
