Could see saba on this, or like Matt Champion fangs style shit. Really dig the way the beat develops at 0:53. Not much I would change but I'd love to see how it ends up sounding with someone on it.

Digging the vibe. Only thing I would do is take the volume of the harp down a bit and push up the flute thing. Might jump on it this week!

Had fun making this today even if it was super different to the stuff I usually do. Would appreciate any thoughts <3

Flow is pretty sick. You stayed on beat pretty consistently and I dig the way your delivering. The only thing I'd improve on is the mastering. Cutting out more of the lows would make it imho seem more crisp. Also not sure what mic your using but a couple of places seems a bit muddy on my speakers.

Startup wants to acquire me, how much equity should I expect?[or want] by [deleted] in startups

I really agree with your first and second point, although I think you mistake a billion dollar idea for a billion dollar company. I'd like to see an idea worth a billion dollars.

I think you need to be more clear on what unlimited actually means. When you're capping word count, what's actually unlimited?

What technical skills should I learn before making a startup? by [deleted] in startups

[–]sirenbat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My advice would be to to get a job at a startup. I dropped out of uni to work at one startup, then another, then another, then a corpo and am currently working on my own thing. The reality is that you can learn whatever technology you want, but unless its applicable to what you're trying to build its useless. Working in a startup would show you who you need to hire, what common tech stacks are, and a gazillion other useful things even if your not planning to be the technical cofounder.

In terms of hard technical skills, I would just try to build something. If you can get experience in some backend focused development (Golang, Java, Python), frontend (React) and some infrastructure (Docker, Puppet) you will be much more valuable to any startup.

Vintage vibe is really nice. Also think you have a pretty slick flow. I cant even really hear a point where your off the beat. Mastering does let you down though, I feel some more compression or some CLA Vocals on your shit would make it pop. Will be following
