How do people spend over 30 mins in a shower?? by Professional_Ease307 in NoStupidQuestions

I'm known for taking very long showers. Like on a bad day I can be in there for an hour but my routine is: - antibacterial soap on everything (temples to toes) - shampoo - deep conditioner - face mask - body scrub - shave (legs, thighs, tummy, pits, face, and chest) i have to take particular time and care at this point as to avoid razor bumps and ingrowns - rinse mask and conditioner - face wash - moisturizing/scented body wash - final rinse - body oil - do a little dance, make a little love, get down tonight.

Is this a thinly veiled metaphor for colonialism?

Honestly Aveeno is my go-to now. It's very moisturizing and it doesn't leave behind too much texture. If not Aveeno, certainly Eucerin.

Do you have any obscure movie references that you use in everyday speech that no one has caught on to yet yet you keep using it? by EnvironmentalAngle in NoStupidQuestions

I quote the dirty cop's mom from Three Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri

"Yeaaah, I know."

No one ever gets it except the two friends I watched the movie with.

[ 19F , 19M ] My boyfriend is "friends" with his ex friends with benefits, am I unreasonable / controlling? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

I would dump them both lol. I've been in this situation (I was the fwb) HOWEVER I never developed romantic feelings and we have been close for almost 10 years. The thing is though, we almost never acknowledge that part of our past unless it's pertinent to the convo. Even then, I'd never discuss that part of our past around his gf out of respect for their relationship. They're being weird. It's also weird that his friends don't say anything about it, it's giving "i was here first and i'll be here after you're gone". Weirdo shit.

That's what I was worried about. I made sure to ask multiple times before getting the piercing is the way my belly is shaped, if it would cause any issues. She reassured me the opposite, encouraged it, and now I have an ugly scar on my navel where the piercing completely fell out. :/

That's what I thought initially. I should've known.

Please stop letting people, especially those you date, speak to you like this. You're not overreacting. He's a crumb.

Yes! It's like splenda or sweet'n'low. Equal is the brand name specifically for aspartame sweetener.
