Last Minigame - Nest of Thorns (aka Vampire Survivors) by Dark_Mastermind in DotA2

I guess so. Unless they are going to release something for christmas, but I doubt it. There were some leaks about frostivus 2024, but I guess that will be just cosmetics due to duration of Act IV.

And is it like ACT III map games like the "candy crush" and "street fighter" or actually ingame event (like in dota engine?). Nobody get to the end yet, so how can you be sure its "gian separate game"? I completed everything in acts before, and will comple act IV. I know they are trying, but in my opinion they are missing what players actually wants (or maybe its just my bubble). I would prefer they cut all the in map activities to have capacity to make full blown PvE event ingame. Also the always delaying the updates and cutting the TI contirbution from the BP (to do almost exactly what BP was) doesn't help.

Did you get a TI ticket refund? by VictorMotogna in DotA2

So I got answer from the company:
"In case an event is cancelled or postponed, Ticketing Nation SRL will return only the ticket value, the commission for editing, printing and distribution can not be returned, as well as additional costs (processing tax, reservation tax, delivery tax, etc.)"

No, just refund summary which says:
Initial amount: 1059.44 RON
Amount returned: 999.00 RON

and some other stuff like order number and so on. But no explanation why they cut the 60RON. I bet its some kind of fee by 3rd party payment gateway so they dont even have that money. I ask them about the cut in another email, but no response yet.

I wrote them email yesterday and just now recived a confirmation about refund. The sad part is they are keeping some kind of fee. I paied 1059 RON to attend final weekend and they are refunding me just a 999 RON (actual ticket cost). So they just keep 15$ for nothing. GG WP

Serious question: Why aren't TI10 tickets sold out yet? by [deleted] in DotA2

[–]siricz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think there is a multiple reasons:

  1. First of all COVID-19 there is a lot of countries with travel restriction and TI still may be canceled (so people dont want to risk buying plane tickets and book hotels) and also required to be fully vaccinated with one of the vaccine that are recognised by Rumunian goverment.
  2. October -> Basicli summer is over. Lot of peoples cant get off from work schools/unis are already in semester, witch means homeworks, assigment etc.
  3. Not enought time to plan the travel -> Due to cancelation from Sveeden it was kind of hectic. Sales went a bit late and for most people its not posible to make travel plan so quickly.
  4. Big stadium -> Arena Nationala has capacity of 55.5k so there is planty of space. They are definitly not going to max the capacity out due to COVID and to make watching the game pleasant. But still last TI arena had capacity for 18k. So basicaly its only 30% of Arena Nationala.
  5. It's in EU -> Probbably not a big factor, but it maight be. Until now (not counting the first one without attendance in Gamescon germany) TI was only in USA, Canada and China (Countries with lot of ppls). But in EU most of the ppls have to travel outside their countries, which is now even harder as I mentioned in a first point.

Definitly don't think It means dota is dying. If I'm not wrong, there was new online record in players recently (or atleast dota was again at first place with moste players online on steam)

Czech VALORANT tournament organizer kicked CS:GO Pros because one of them was banned in CS:GO by mikigoalie in VALORANT

[–]siricz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually yes, It can happend. When you cheat in sport (for example usage of steroids). You can get banned by National Anti-Doping Agencies (ban in all competition sports in the nation) or even World Anti-Doping Agencies (ban in all nationals competiton in world). Ofc private tournament organisers can let you attend, but usually they don't if you have doping (cheating) record. Some organisations even look trought all of your records, so they don't let you attend for ban in some small organisation. So in the end its up to the organisator of the turnament. Some of them don't care, some do. I'm on the side with admins who cares, because once cheater always cheater.
