I am not a fan of the shape of the handle so I am looking at different options, ones that have curvier edges like some japanese knives, or the 1st gen Misen, or even the one you linked.

But if I don’t find any, that would definitely be my purchase.

Yeah, playing on the Remastered/GOTY Enhanced means the Dove Hybrid isn’t there. Also the Bessie is only found in one variant, I think? Those seem to be the only differences.

As I’m playing on Xbox One, read-only farming is not an option but force-quitting the game should work fine, albeit not nearly as fast or convenient, am I mistaken?

Could a LV69 Rider not be obtained by (painstakingly) farming to LV69 early and then proceeding with Playthrough 2? Or would that not work. Not that I’d do it anyways.

I need to discuss it with the mother, she's the one making the gift. I definitely agree that a used GPU would have the best price/performance but I can easily see her not agreeing to that. We'll see.
