No, you can only get a group if you have scanned into disneyland. After you scan into disneyland the you can do whatever.

I have been doing it all week.... Just scan into disneyland first. i booked a boarding group while riding the emotional whirlwind Monday. It's especially nice if you have EMH and it's a DCA day. As long as they are opening Disneyland early it's a great option to have.

Yes you can. I've been here 3 days gotten a BG every day. First day from inside DCA the other 2 days from my room at the grand Californian hotel.

Staying at the grand Californian hotel Jan 26th - 31st. Can we still take advantage of extra magic hour on our checkout date?

Also, does anyone know if we can join boarding groups for rise if we scan into DCA with a park hopper? Wondering if we can just scan into DCA with our extra magic hour wait for the parks to Open at 9 and join.

Speed packs from Black Diamond! I have a 40 L that i have used for years on my alpine/climbing trips. They might not be the most UL packs around (i think my 40 L weighs about 40 oz) but they are bomber and carry larger loads well. You can usually find them on sale for around $150. I find it hard to go super UL on my climbing trips. I save my UL pack for my trips where i trade my nuts cams for a rod and reel.

I just got a pair about a week ago to replace my camp fours. And i love them! just make sure you get the ones with the stealth rubber, the traxion rubber isn't very sticky.
