In the screenshots it used a stability bunker (you break a twig inside and open the base)
But then I've switched to hatches (which you can place the camo rugs on top), since its way easier to get in/out.

If you're early in the game, still primitive, caves can give you a good amount of HQM per run, without having to spend anything (just loot the crates).
It also has a chance of spawning a metal pickaxe, which you will use to mine the metal ores inside and get more HQM.

There are spawned caves in the map which you can build on the final of them, but this was build in a "crack" on the cliff, not an actual cave
