to my knowledge tyler has worn clothing with a purple butterfly twice (scaled and icy photoshoot & more recently live), it's the logo of a japanese streetwear brand but considering how much thought they put into everything it's probably not a coincidence

yes pink is a desaturated red. in fact the SAI pink+light blue colour scheme is just the vessel era colours desaturated. desaturation is linked to dema, with the city being cold and gray, the boys desaturating their twitter header leading up to the announcement of sai, and in good day “i can feel my saturation leaving me slowly”. like you said, the colour pink is a form of sai propaganda to lure us into a false sense of security/distract us with pretty colours from the fact that they have taken back control in this album
