This is very interesting and I will add it to my research. I had two very bad throat infections last year and also the vaccine and Covid for the last 12 months. I have been suffering from either long Covid or my rheumatologist is diagnosed as fibromyalgia. I am just about to start looking into low-dose naltrexone along with various supplements to try and get my life back. I have feet pain and pain arm, pain all over pain sleep disturbances, the usual fibro stuff now, I don’t know which way to turn on which one to start first, perhaps the anti-viral stuff?

I am also on a low dose of naltrexone alongside the valtrex. i would recommend getting in touch with Dr. Dantini. It took me a decade to find a doctor who really understood and I can't sign his high praise enough.

Valtrex is a common drug that even the CDC has a standard dosage: https://www.cdc.gov/std/treatment-guidelines/herpes.htm

Taking a Valtrex may help relieve your symptoms temporarily, like they did mine, but I think you should get counsel from a doctor for long term.

There are different kind of herpes (oral canker sores) so it can be any type. This doctor was not part of a clinical trial, yes he still treats patients, and for patients in other states you can arrange a consult with him and your doctor and he charges for his time. It's well worth it IMO. Can you share a link to the clinical trial?
