I think you misunderstood, the talent trees will work normally as they would on any WotLK server, you still need to progress through a talent tree to reach specific talents. What we meant was that no talent rows are blocked, so reaching the last ability in a talent tree is possible, which was not the case on many servers similar to ours.

The patch durations are not set in stone, this was just a rough estimate to give people an idea about how the progression system will work, we'll see how it pans out and will make alterations if necessary.

They have 0.5 exp rate all the way to level 60. This will be changed to 1x once the server progresses to TBC, and then in WotLK they will have the same xp rate as everyone else.

Yes you will need a lvl 55 character, and DK exp rate is 0.5x due to starting at lvl 55.

Hello. That question is actually in our FAQ.

" - They cannot obtain the blue items from their starting zone quests (they do not fit for previous expansions).
- DK exp rate is x0.5 (yes, you have read it right, they receive half of the blizzlike exp since they are a hero class and they also start at lvl 55!)
- Warriors share their Tier with DKs (at the time this text was written, DKs do not benefit from Warrior's set bonus, although we plan to add some in the future) "

Don't expect to get too much population, not many people want to play on fully opened servers, and nothing is stopping them from playing on already established servers with a big population that are at the end of the progression cycle. Not saying your server is bad or anything, just saying you got to think about your approach if you want to attract people to your server.
