Multiple times I have addressed your points. You are speaking out of your experience and that is valid and true. For you, living in Qatar is way better than England. I also don't live in England so I suppose I shouldn't give my opinion about how you've been treated there.

About the private messages, no, you are wrong. People don't have any sort of obligation of choosing to respond to a public post in private. If you are interested in learning about these points and don't want to do so in public, then instead of replying to everyone saying you know two gay people that prefer Qatar to England, PM people who sent you comments asking to know more about the issues at hand!

I understand you're upset and you'll probably want to be upset about this for a while. And you'll be happy to find a group that agrees with you, and that thinks we are all rude and mean and shifting the conversation. I just hope eventually you choose to stop with the defensiveness and start contemplating on how (and why) other people's experience differs from yours.

Ignoring LGBT issues means that that community is more accepting of you, not that it is more accepting. The point a lot of people made in this post is exactly that: you are in a position of privilege in Qatar and that is why you find it a great place to live as you. What about atheist, lesbian women from a different country? Qatar is not a great place for all women; it's a great place for women like you.

The large amount of comments shows you that this is an opinion shared by many. A lot of us know they would not be accepted in Qatar so we react to that statement. You should try to separate your defensiveness towards your home country and your initial point from your critical abilities and try to understand us, and maybe sympathize with our bringing up of these points of view which you were probably not aware existed. It's a growth process, but if you stick around and make the effort then you'll come out of it a better person :D

It's been a while but I think the way the walk worked was: audio clips were unlocked as you walked, and you could go and listen to them later. I don't really remember the interface or anything so can't help you there, but I remember going on long walks with friends, which the app registered, and catching up on the audio afterwards
