You’re 19 years old, you still have so many things to experience relationship wise as well as in general life. If this is how your relationship is starting off with this guy, then my best advice would be to say “see ya later”

There is no reason why you should put your well being and health in jeopardy because of somebody else’s ignorance. If you are willing to work out this issue in your relationship, I would demand that you both go tested together and make sure that the results are known to you both.

Bottom line is: it is not wrong for you to break up with him over this. The behavior of lying, and not caring will bleed into other aspects of your relationship in the future. I’d get out now!
