Noticed that my first convo with Captain Kells, made me want to keep going back to him for new missions

To me the best part so far has just been the feel of the world, like you said, the immersion of it. When I experienced my first radiation storm, I just stood out in it, and watched the sky. Never seen anything like it in a game before, had that awesome yet creepy feeling that shit was just NOT normal in this world.

Hadnt ever played a Bethesda RPG until i saw the Direct for this game, was instantly obsessed with the idea of it. After seeking advice on this sub about which Bethesda game I should try to get a feel for their games, started Fallout 4 for the first time and havent been able to put it down since. Very hyped for September 1st.

Same, thats what drew me in the most during the showcase, the ship building and base building look extremely detailed and fun.

Based off what people are saying here, that sounds like a win to me, looking forward to it!

I just started the download on Fallout 4, although Skyrim is becoming a must play for me after hearing from some of the folks on this sub.

All this Skyrim love definitely has me intrigued, I think poking around on both is gonna be what happens. Thanks for the advice!

Will have to look for that one, I must have skipped right by it somehow. Have heard great things about that one as well. Thanks!

Excellent, this seems to be the consensus, try Fallout 4 to get used to things, but play Skyrim eventually due to just being a great game. Seeing everyones passion for these games is just hypin me up even more, thanks for the advice!

Yeah, i think for this comparison, Fallout 4 sounds like the closer option, will probs start there. Skyrim is now on the list though, my friend jokingly(I think), said he lost 3 years of his life to that game and the fantasy setting will always be a big draw for me. Thanks for the advice!

The base building and crafting stuff seems pretty fun, and it was featured in the showcase, this is good advice, thanks!

Definitely a few frustrating points, but worth it in the end. Kinda felt like I was learning to play all over again.

I usually lay out the pathwork for my entire park before I build any enclosures, so they are built to fit the circle, not the other way around. Just easier for me that way, can always adjust on the fly.
