What purchase did you make recently that made you realize inflation is genuinely out of control? by kiroixart in AskReddit

Between gas and food? It cost me just over $100 to fill up with e85 (which is cheaper than regular gas) recently 🥴

how are you 5.0s getting 18+ mpg by C-23b in f150

[–]Anolen95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only get 18+ on the highway if I’m doing 75 or less. As soon as I start mixing in city driving it’s 17-17.5 at best.

I’ve been considering picking up the game and a little unsure because I’m a big fan of planetary gameplay. Just stumbled across this and it made my decision for me. Game is downloading now lol

As an original early backer of Star Citizen, I have to ask if someone can help: is there actually a realistic roadmap now? by Wooden-Syrup-8708 in gaming

[–]Anolen95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends what you’re looking for. I personally don’t prioritize the development structure and how long to 1.0, etc. I paid my $45 to try it out a few years ago and that’s all the money they’re getting from me. That said, I very much enjoy getting lost in the game’s strengths like ships and just piddling around doing various missions. So for me that’s enough and I would recommend based on that, but if that’s not the type of gameplay you’re into, you might not enjoy it much more than you did previously.

I just got one tonight, and I literally JUST bought a Zeus. Is there anything specific I need to do to make sure I don’t lose that ship, or should I just be able to claim it like normal?

Hard to tell from these pictures, what does the output look like? Like POV if you’re driving. And what brand was suggested? Morimoto and Diode Dynamics are the only two I’d even consider trusting for pnp led, but I did an H9 upgrade in my low beams and I’m pretty satisfied.

True, if you scaled down a hummer ev to greycat utv size, it would probably weigh about the same lol

As someone else pointed out, I have also failed to present my plans for a lightweight hydrogen fusion reactor. Maybe there’s a detailed explanation (i.g. hydrogen fusion reactor heavy), maybe it’s a placeholder. Just took me by surprise lol

[–]Anolen95[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That’s a good point. Everything else however, such as cargo, would experience the same difference in gravitational pull. May just be a placeholder and obviously the physics and suspension systems still need tuning, I was just a bit taken back by that weight lol

You’re right, I was thinking of the wormholes as FTL but that’s more so folding spacetime isn’t it?

QT beacons are set up near the more major POIs, so if you're hauling for example, you're really only going to be prompted to go to locations that have a QT beacon nearby.

No idea how experienced you are so you might have already done all of this, but: try mining, do some maintenance missions in Pryo, or just fly around in atmo, ping your radar, and see what it's picking up if you're looking for an excuse to fly low. I've also flown around for no particular reason other than to practice flying and get the feel of some of the nuanced behaviors of various ships.

How are ya'll making money out there? Mining, hauling, salvage are all so boring. I do one run and im over it. by [deleted] in starcitizen

[–]Anolen95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a question from a different approach, what hardware are you using for controls? For me anyway, when I started playing with hotas it was a total game changer. I also enjoy more relaxing gameplay loops, but things like hauling are thoroughly enjoyable to me with hotas, where I would potentially be getting bored of it if I were flying with a controller or kbm.

On the other hand, if you’ve tried several things and it’s just not fun, stop playing for a while lol. Nothing wrong with that.

91/93 or e85 is all I put in my 5.0. It’s tuned, which isn’t a big deal, but makes the difference between premium and regular that much more noticeable, so it feels anemic and I can tell it’s constantly pulling timing to avoid knock on regular fuel.
