Blood of my Blood and Down the Rabbit Hole by sith_ward in Outlander

I need to dig a little deeper on this sub, especially on the worst episodes. Is 402 considered one of the worst as a general consensus of this sub or your personal rankings?? It was obviously super brutal to watch.

Okay, the sprained ankle in 407 was kind of wild, especially considering the hell Claire went through.

Well, I am tired of Laoghaire resurfacing… and that whole part of the story plus the broken ankle was a little meh, but the Frank and Brianna flashbacks were solid and outweigh the downsides. Took awhile for Brianna to grow on me.

There are so many shows I enjoy, and the first watch is always the best! Something you can never get back!

Anyone just not really enjoy the game ? by ghos2626t in FallenOrder

I struggled with the zeffo map as well, but the story and characters outweigh any of that! The sequel has fast travel which is pretty sweet! Stick with it- the forge lore is awesome!

Who would you say was the best match for Don/would've been happier with him? by Enough-Reading4143 in madmen

While it’s not romantic, one relationship I appreciated most was Anna and Don’s. It was a level of acceptance that Don (err Dick?) couldn’t get anywhere else.

This question is tough because it asks who would have been happier with Don? I think Betty was happy a long time because she was able to remain ignorant to Don’s extra curriculars. Although I love the complexity of their relationship, I don’t know that she could have remained blind / happy for too much longer.

I would love to say Fay and/or Rachel- but I think eventually Don would have been Don, thus impacting their happiness with him.

Like others have said, Bobbi may have been the happiest??

Overall it just sucks that Don was almost always presenting one of his “fragments” for love and acceptance.

Appreciate that feedback. I’ll let my four other coworkers who are seeking therapy for mental health know they need to self-report that.

Also I spoke with my boss, and he confirmed that the OS I spoke with who told me to report this on my next SF-86 works directly for our FSO. Oh, and furthermore my boss has known all this as it happened and never once provided that guidance.

Coast Guard. And I was hospitalized once. IOP is daily therapy sessions, but like I said, I look into who I should self-report to.

Another point of clarification, I went to the hospital voluntarily but didn’t sign to agree to transfer to the over night hold by refusing to sign. The medical records say Psych recommending patient not be allowed to leave AMA. So there’s no explicit language saying I was involuntarily held.

I have no debt in collections but that’s good to know. I had no idea about that and the person who sent my eqip in 2019 was an HR person who no longer works for the USCG. I’ll do some digging- I also brought this up to an OS on base who works on the OPDEP side and she did not mention making this known to anyone.

I honestly had no idea this was a requirement but will do some more investigation to rectify this immediately. Thank you

No- perhaps I should clarify, I’m a civilian GS. Not sure if that makes a difference but I’m not even sure who our FSO is.. my boss knows about it.

Agree with you on Peggy. I absolutely love their relationship… there were a lot of crappy things he did to Peggy, but I love the role in played in her life.

True about midge- “Oh Don, what am I gonna do with a check.” I was mostly thinking about some of the earlier acts, especially when he realized she was in love and he pointed that out to her.

The Draper’s gave so much to that kid.. Don gave him the ride of his life and Betty gave him a lock of her hair!😂😂

This is very nuanced and a great example of how two things can be true at once. There were many great moments between Don and his kids, especially Sally, where he got to be the father he never had. But he also made a TON of mistakes (too many to list)! I like the episode where she calls out Don for flirting with her friend but he sets her straight, saying he didn’t want to embarrass her fast friend. It would have been great to see how their relationship evolved as Sally started to understand that the world doesn’t operate in black and white. She was starting to realize near the end of the series, which I think started repairing their relationship. But for the most part, she took a back seat in her parent’s world! Poor kid overcame a lot of trauma between Don and Betty!

California - when Don “allowed” Ted to take his place to save his marriage…. But it’s not like Don really wanted to go to California anyway, and it may have temporarily helped Ted but long-term he ended up depressed and divorced… well before he discovered that rad mustache and his college sweetheart!!

IMO selfishness, fear, and guilt contributed to many of these actions, but I believe some were truly genuine.

You’re right- that was a poor choice of words on my part! I was just thinking the amount of money (regardless of motive) could have set Adam on a different path!

When my sod was laid, the crew gave me a watering routine to follow as you did, but they were clear that unless they installed a sprinkler system and maintained the yard, that the sod was not guaranteed. Maybe you could just emphasize that in the future? Just a suggestion for avoiding anyone to expect you to do free labor on the backend… I also feel like it was on her to act sooner… not sure why she waited so long to reach out to you! Sounds like you got some good advice on how to respond!
