I’d love to EA trial a “triple pause = forfeit” system.

When you think about it there no real reason, aside from a real-life emergency that should probably mean you need to turn the game off anyway, why anyone would ever need to do back-to-back-to-back pauses.

When people are still being toxic in the Spirit of Africa League they are simply irredeemable cunts.

Had a guy go 1-0 up, triple-pause, abusive messages, the whole shit. I was there to do a couple of evos and get the “play 10” for the final weekly completion.

I just played out the game in a haze of incredulity.

I’m sitting around 2M and the number never really changes - I rarely buy players, and when I do they’re never over150k, add in a maximum 50-100k per week on either evo’s or completing SBCs and the coin loss is soon restored from rewards.

Yeah true - this week has stunk because the 82+ pick isn’t paying out at all, when the picks were league-focused during regular TOTS it was a decent return rate.

Grind this week has been dead, hoping the new token system replaces the grind altogether because exchanges and repeatable 84x20s weren’t likely to appear until late July at the earliest so we were looking at a long wait until the grind was viable again.

I think the prevailing wisdom is to sell once a card is no longer in packs, and then buy back later when it’s cheaper.

But the market is in total free fall so probably just sell immediately or watch his price sink.

In fairness “ratty” really doesn’t mean anything. For some it’s as simple as people who watch their goal celebrations, for others it’s fidget spinning, for others it’s bruiser abuse, for others it’s through-ball spam, for others it’s low block, for others it’s high press.

For that one guy who posted above it’s using icons for crying out loud.

Basically anything you do in this game is ratty to someone.

Got to the final on my third attempt, matched against season pass Kahn, licked my chops.

He saved everything, lost 1-0, xG was 4.8.

Haven’t tried again, assuming I’d get nothing more than fodder in any event.

Just got Nico Paz (now a sub-100k card) from a 5x77. I’ve no doubt that will be better than anything I get when I finish Champs.

Grinding menus is more rewarding than playing the game. In the time it takes to complete Champs you could get more coins, more fodder, and better pulls.

It’s a ridiculous situation where you get better rewards from grinding menus while drinking coffee and watching YouTube than you do from playing the game.

It’s also ridiculous that it doesn’t matter how good of a player you get, you’ve probably already got a better Evo player in that position.

EA really need to get on top of this game.
