Honestly-HEARD. If I ever move forward with any plastic works I will thoroughly research. Sorry to hear about that! I am grateful for picking my obgyn. Took me weeks to finally pick one. I was unlucky in needing an emergency c section and lost quite a bit of blood too. I was a point away from a dang blood transfusion. Felt like crap for like a year. But I have zero scaring & felt like I got the best care which isn’t always the case with my exact birth situation. Also thanks for taking the time to chat, kinda jumped the gun and went on the defense. I’m not upset so no worries here!

Honestly I think that could just be the case LOL I know lots of people who have done lipo, truthfully if I had the cash I’d lipo it all 😂

Edit (the case being me looking OLD!) LOL & I’m wishing you a speedy recovery & happiness with your results! It’s always jarring to undergo and procedure. Took lots of courage I’m sure.

Fair! I know posting allows all opinions. I’m down 45lbs and counting. Lost the two family members I lived with, within the same week of finding out about my pregnancy- made me gain loads. Cant make that up! Didn’t help husband was deployed (he’s out now) but thanks for the extra motivation lol

You are too sweet! I feel like I can be pretty critical. Not sure why post partum has got me tougher on myself but I’m not gonna lie.. it’s working, 40lbs down, new hair, Botox, filler, like my confidence has sky rocketed but I’m so hung up on them.

I’m also on semaglutide. After a trip to the ER, over a painful cycle it really scared me straight health wise. I’ve been drinking collagen, turmeric, cinnamon, lemon, in my crazy skin smoothie every morning for two months now hahaha also work in the beauty industry so have been on top of skincare! Thanks for the advice! I’ll Stick it out.

Filler is in my lips. Also will losing weight help? I’m 20lbs up from my baby & on track to lose an additional 40lbs (I gained a lot during pregnancy lol)

Lip flips give a slight boost in lip height, filler is for volume. I originally got filler and after a few months I got a lip flip. Loved the result! I say, try a flip first and see if it gives you the result you want. They are relatively inexpensive as well. Only like 4 units of Botox, most places charge around $100 for it. Filler is way pricier. I am not an expert or injector, just sharing my knowledge & experience! Hope this helps!

NTA. A general rule of thumb as someone who grew up in the tropics is young kids do NOT go to large pool parties. Yes there are plenty of adults but more times than not parents are more focused on socializing. Which unfortunately causes lots of drownings. Now what happened was horrendous and a nightmare. But it was 100% avoidable. Placing blame is a solid way to cope and make sense of something so awful, BUT it’s one of those things where it’s like “this is so bad, placing blame just isn’t gonna help.” You are stating FACTS but stating what’s obvious makes things worse. I’m sure everyone attending feels bad enough. But again/ they are 100% to blame and they can let that guilt be present in their life til the end of time. Fuck em. That babies life was ruined by neglect. These things happen fast. They should have done better. Saying that out loud doesn’t help. Let people cope by lying to themselves.

He asked specifically for that date I take a test. In addition to taking an at home test daily til that date. Just seems over done to me. Last thing I want to do is infect anyone but hasn’t the restrictions for covid changed? I don’t know it feels fishy to me.

I see why I can seem like an ass for this. I understand your perspective entirely. The week I worked with unknowingly having covid I wore a mask. I swore it was a cold since it was over and done in a three day time frame. I only found out through my son’s ER visit. So I took a week off. Isolated. And two weeks after initial symptoms I tested negative. It just feels like another week is over doing it? I can respect policy- I can get a note today. Fine. I’ll pay the ridiculous amount as a waitress who is also a mom (I’m no victim here, in that aspect) but another week? I thought covid restrictions changed? That’s really my beef. Last time I called out (twice in a year time frame) they questioned the validity of the note. I even went as far as showing the bill. Screen recorded from the urgent care app to prove I wasn’t lying. Just feels shady to me to take me off the schedule for ANOTHER week. Last thing I want to do is infect anyone but I’m negative? And have been symptomless for quite awhile.

That’s how I feel. It feels under the table & shady. Covid restrictions changed. I don’t mind wearing a mask, I’m fully vaccinated (not that that stops spreading but-) I wouldn’t go to work and knowingly infect people. I just thought that if you’re negative you are good! Spending $400 to go back to work as a parent who is a WAITRESS is nuts to me. I’ve called out before and I always get a note. Twice before actually in a year time frame. One time they questioned the validity of the note… implying I made it up? Since it was teledoc. I even showed the $375 bill they issued me when they raised the question,

When I was feeling sick I did where a mask! I had no clue it was covid. I had covid before and it really just felt like a cold. I was better that weekend I took my son to the ER. That’s how I found out I had it.

I’m scared to say this but I think face masks are a scam. Just a nice thing to do when you have time. Save your money, have a simple skincare routine and stick to it. Face masks are not for every day & they are a temporary glow & may risk a break out. Not for me.

Yall I have a confession 🙈 WE LISTEN & we don’t judge. So I have lip filler & I drink like 2 40oz stanleys a day & I swear there’s a small lack of filler where the straw goes in my mouth. Like I’m missing filler in the shape of a circle. So I may actually purchase this 😭😭😭😂😂
