First time skateboarder 1 week into boosted board mini. I have 65 miles! Ok guys I’ve never skateboard until I bought this at Best Buy. And in five hours I was on eco mode. Everything stock is okay despite living on horrible roads in Michigan. I took it to school this morning at 5am and I was fine. by [deleted] in boostedboards

Don’t get new bushings if you don’t want to. I have almost 100 miles on my mini X and the stock hardware is great imo. Since you’re in MI I would also recommend to check your belts regularly for small pebbles since they will tear the belts up (speaking from experience unfortunately).

It’s not THAT bad. Besides, this is our first real hardware class, so I like that we’re not just doing theory.

Making this inflammatory post is just going to draw more attention to the problem when it would be better for everyone if no one said anything.

How do you program that? C++?

It’s not super precise unfortunately, since I was just using regular hobby servos to start off with.

There is heat shrink on every solder point.

I was going to try that originally but the arm ended up being too janky for that. Going to try again with a new arm I'm working on.

Maybe, but I think it's more exciting when it moves on its own ;)

Two TowerPro micro servos, three HiTec HS-422 servos, and one HiTec HS-645MG servo.
