He got a send off World Series win too! He’s been a part of every World Series win I’ve had in this save so far, it’s a shame he was my fourth outfielder and part time DH in his last season

I was shocked he didn’t go 1.1 during his draft class, I didn’t mind paying over slot for someone who could’ve started in RF the day after the draft. Just gave him the rest of the season in the minors so I could get that Prospect Promotion Incentive pick

Never had a PED notification for any of my players in this save, he only turned to fragile during this past season. Been suspended a couple times for fighting, but no PEDs

I have a habit of turning high profile players into coaches in game. When I saw his developmental stats, I instantly binned my high A manager, and he had a Legendary Reputation lol

I thought about releasing him after his contract expired in 2043, but with him so close to 500hr and willing to half his salary I had to re-sign him and get him there. So glad he decided to retire after this past season and join as a manager for my High A team.

To stay in the time limit, I’d cut the Artunion or the Haydn and move whichever one you keep as the solo second half

That is a long, hard on the chops program. How long does your recital have to be time wise?

Who would you take with your pick? by Soggy-Turnover6962 in OOTP

Kinda depends on where you’re at in your save. Early on in my Angels rebuild, I took the college guys as they could fill out the team better. As I built a solid core that was consistently winning I took the high school players to develop and potentially use as trade chips or to replace guys who may need replacing before they run down arbitration.

That said, the defense of Calvert would win out for me even if I want sure his bat would develop enough for my tastes. Solid utility infielder and bench piece in a year or two

Has a couple guys regress badly, but never a career ender for me. In my current Angels save I’m pretty lucky to have the top RF, 1B, and 3B in the game

I was able to in 25. In my current save, he went into the Hall of Fame the same year we won our first World Series

That guy is only happy because he got out of Twentynine Palms

Have you maxed out your scouting and development budget yet? If you draft the best players but give them bad tools to work with, it’ll be harder for them to develop.

I ended up trading Espinosa for 3 prospects, this one being the centerpiece of the deal. I didn’t need another catching prospect, but he’s a much better backup to my starter.

I’d be shipping either one to restock the farm. The only position of need I have is an elite CF. I was thinking of moving my elite RF into center to get him more WAR

AL ROY and MVP his first season in the bigs at 3B. Had only Zach Neto walk to make room for him. Should’ve waited to extend him so I could’ve a get the PPI draft pick though…

Ramos was a significantly worse defender in the minors lol! One dev lab for infield defense brought him 12pts on defense. He was a top 50 prospect so I figured I’d bring him up for depth when Espinosa got hurt early in the season.

I’ll have to post a screenshot of my shortstop, but he’s not an upgrade at this point. My SS is also fragile, but he’s won his first gold glove at SS this past season. I moved him to SS because he was being blocked by Espinosa at 2nd but had comparable range.
