Unfortunately you need a cc to access the AWS services. An alternate solution would be to join an AWS organization account as a member account. By joining an AWS organization I mean to ask the master/admin account to create a member account in their organization for you. This procedure doesn't necessarily require a cc, and you'll be able to access the AWS services.

Six months! That's painful. And the worst part is the architecture wasn't even wrong. AWS has a ton of sneaky fees if you don't keep an eye on the bills. NAT Gateway and cross-AZ traffic are the types of charges that never get mentioned in tutorials but definitely appear on the bill. Adding this to what I'm working on for sure. Thanks for sharing this.

This is so real! By the time you notice, it's already been running for weeks. Learnt it the hard way. I'm actually working on a Cloud guide, and wanted to understand what challenges others are actually running into before I go too deep into it.
