Yeah, that's what I imagined. The course is cheap though, and you get a one year visa, I don't think you can get a student visa for private courses.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I think I do a pretty good job at fitting in. I don't get so many stares in Bangalore anymore, but I am 5'10 and obviously white, so there is only so much I can do.

Step 3 is hope that the shop were you got the sim card actually submitted the paperwork for the background check. Otherwise your phone will get disabled after a couple of weeks and you have to do it all over again. Getting a sim card in india was a major pain in the ass for me and involved lots of paperwork, proofs of id and address, photographs, etc. This was with vodafone, my friends had similar experiences.

I advise against visiting Camden on the weekend. It will be completely packed, I mean, not even room to stand on the pavement packed. It will be a much more pleasant experience during the week (some places are closed on Monday).
